Case Study - Mortgage Master

THE CLIENT
Mortgage Master is a solution for financial institutions and their direct sales agents and affiliates who give loans for buying homes and real estate. Developed for a major DSA of one of the largest banks in the India, this system takes care of most aspects of the loan application, sanction and disbursement process.

THE REQUIREMENT
The client approached us with the problem of unable to handle the fast growth of business with spreadsheet based management. Often records were duplicated and there was no co-ordination between various departments, leading to unwanted delays in processing the applications and hence, resulting in unhappy clients.

SOLUTION
We took the task of understanding the home loan business and based upon the business logic of the client, proposed the solution, which was immediately accepted. The system manages most aspects of the home loan process and generates extensive MIS reports for appropriate action.

TECHNOLOGY USED
Developed on Visual Basic 6.0 and MS SQL Server.

THE IMPACT
This resulted in increased reputation for the client as more and more customers chose the company over others because of the systematic approach under which the company operated.

Other benefits to the client included lessen manpower requirements as the system was handling most of the jobs and faster client procurement patterns as they could handle more clients at a time.

Even the bank for which our client was working was very happy with the organised flow of information, resulting quick receipt of loan applications, faster processing and finally, quick disbursement of loans to successful candidates.
